Safe-T-Plus Steering Control
Drive with less fatigue. Tighter steering and more control over road wander and rut tracking

“The Safe-T-Plus Steering Control Device is a “mechanically assisted, positive centering, hydraulic retardation system, and hydrauli- cally dampened.”
SuperSteer® thinks Safe-T-Plus is great. And we recently found a way to make it even better when you go here.
That’s a fancy “engineer-ese” way of saying Safe-T-Plus helps keep the driver on the straight and narrow even with a surprise front blowout, sidewind, pothole, pavement drop, road rut, or curbing. You maintain control & steer straight ahead.
A driver is no longer exhausted after two hours on the highway . . . the complaint of so many.
He has probably experienced one or all of these:

Safe-T-Plus uses a positive centerpoint to help drivers maintain easy control on long, straight stretches with ruts and wind. Some controls help you come out of curves, but do little on straight runs.
Safe-T-Plus also avoids extra stress on tie rods or king pins - saves extra repair costs that he’d be happier spending on some neat upgrades.
People all over the country use Safe-T-Plus because their units fit motorhomes to pickups to semi-trailers.
“Thought you might like to know what I have observed that is different since you worked on my vehicles. It’s easier to drive it in wind, even a fairly high wind. The truck is much easier to stop and to control going down hills and mountains and I don’t get as tired when I drive. I am certainly enjoying my upgrades.” Shirlea Griswold, Johnson City, TX
Safe-T-Plus has but one flaw we believe . . .
The driver has to stop, get out of his comfortable seat and adjust it outside the cab. But . . .
. . . now even that problem is a thing of the past with the coming of the brand new SuperSteer® Trim Unit.
When you combine the Trim
Unit with Safe-T-Plus, all that
stopping . . . stops.
- Steering wheel pulls left or
right? Re-center steering, straighten up and keep moving. - Got a 30-mile side wind?
Don’t stop. Re-center steering and
relax. - Pulling on to a high-crowned road?
Keep driving. Re-center steering
and your coach holds the road
effortlessly.
The SuperSteer® Trim Unit adjusts inside the cab, on the move. You never leave your seat.
Fewer hassles – more relaxed driving
Just like the Safe-T-Plus Steering Control, this Trim Unit is simple, yet built for heavy-duty wear. Our precision engineering insures consistent performance.
