Air Force One
for coaches
“with
air brakes”

What Air Force One does for a customer –

The system is always ready. Absolutely no delay in braking. The system maintains constant vacuum pressure in the towed vehicle’s power brakes even when the engine is off. Other systems must run a pump when they activate.

Instant Power-Assisted Brakes In Customer’s Towed Vehicle. The towed vehicle brakes actually “mirror” coach’s brakes to furnish 100% simultaneous True Proportionate Power Braking in the towed vehicle — right from the cab.

Coach Notification Light alerts customer in the coach cab any time the towed vehicle’s brakes activate. With Coach Notification, if your signal is on, your brakes are on. Period.

No Setup Or Take Down. In this permanent installation, there are no “box brakes” to put in and take out every time your customer travels, as with other tow brake systems. No long setup procedures. Customer does nothing but plug it in.

AF1brakeacuatorEverything’s Out Of Sight. The brake actuator (shown right) is so small it fits in the palm of your hand and installs up on the brake pedal out of the way & out of sight. Customer never knows it’s there.

“Total Coach Protection”
Breakaway System.
Air Force One is the ONLY product on the market that features this unique lifesaver. In the event of a breakaway — 1) Air Force One seals the coach’s air supply so it can stop normally. 2) Simultaneously, it brakes customer’s towed vehicle.

No Extra Parts To Wear Out. Air Force One’s patented vacuum generator uses the coach’s air to create vacuum for the towed vehicle. It has no moving parts & no vacuum pump to wear out.

Simple Installation. No huge, expensive initial installation like some systems. This one is short and sweet.

5-year Warranty. Air Force One has been so successful — with hun-
dreds of units in use — they have had “zero” failures and “zero” product returns.

How Air Force One Works

Air+Vacuum = proportionate|effective|gentle braking.

Air Force One activates towed vehicle’s power-assisted brake system using coach’s own air supply for instantaneous proportion-
ate braking.

This system activates the towed vehicle’s power brakes with a patented process that requires NO MOVING PARTS & NO VACUUM PUMP.

Constantly Active Power Brakes

With Air Force One, the towed vehicle always has the same power brakes when the engine is off as when the engine is running. The system draws from the coach’s air supply to create constant power brakes.

When power brakes give out with other systems, you must use brute force to stop your car with a “dead” brake pedal. If your car has ever lost power brakes, you’re already acquainted with the sheer terror of it.

That brute force puts stress on the brake pedal, firewall and seat of the towed vehicle. With Air Force One — or any SMI product — virtually no force is necessary — ever.

Powerful and Invisible

Air Force One is so small you never know it’s there! The actuator cylinder mounts on the brake arm above the foot pad –- totally out of the way . . . and out of sight.

A small cable to direct the braking attaches directly to the towed ve-
hicle’s firewall with a self-tapping screw.

Total Coach Protection

Protecting the coach’s air supply is critical, especially in the event of a breakaway.

AFOnelogoAir Force One is the ONLY product on the market that features “Total Coach Pro-
tection” during a breakaway.

With this patent pending process, dur-
ing a breakaway Air Force One seals the
coach’s air supply so it can stop normally.
At the same time, it activates the
towed vehicle’s brakes.

On his next trip, you customer will know he made the right decision — when he steps up in the cab, simply “plugs in” Air Force One with two fingers — and drives away relaxed.
